Kolber is originally from Pennsylvania, earned her graduate education at the University of Miami. In New York City, she started her career as a CBS Sports Video Coordinator. She won a Sports Emmy while working for WTVJ-TV Miami. Also, she worked at WPLG-TV in Miami and WPEC-TV in West Palm Beach, Florida. In 1993, she was selected to anchor ESPN2's initial year of launch. The station stayed with her until ESPN2 up to the point that Fox Sports hired her. After that, she was back at ESPN which is where she now hosts 'Monday Night Countdown.'
