Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in the city of St. Louis in Missouri. She performed in The Muny Opera. She graduated cum laude from The University of Missouri Columbia with a BA in Communications and theater. Following her move between Missouri and Los Angeles in 2004, she took part in theater arts. She was involved in acting and conducting over 20 musicals. Some of these productions included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch : The Musical Peter Pan for The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. As she continued to learn improvisation in The Groundlings and becoming a part of the company at Theatre West Kelly also started landing roles on television as well as in films. The combination of her unique voice, and small size enabled Kelly to come up with a diverse range of colorful characters. She was a co-star with Naomi Watts in The Ring 2 as evil Samara however, she is better known as the radiant and lively receptionist in Two and a Half Men. Kelly had a role as an ongoing series on TV Land's The Exes in which she was an ex-party-goer and a paralegal throughout the days. Kelly was also on the show as Alyssa's sassy, sexpert sister on ABC's Romantically Challenged and as the worried suburban mom on the CW show No Tomorrow. Her soprano voice has been featured in a variety of shows such as Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Most recently she can be in the role of the slow but charming Cloud 9 employee on NBC's super-hit comedy Superstore. Together with her husband and two children, she leads an unhurried lifestyle.
